Derby Derby DERBY!!!

It doesn't get much more REDNECK than the Tooele County Demolition Derby! But we LOVE it!! Two years ago my dad and brother raced in the figure eight race, that was way fun to watch and have someone to cheer for.

Last night two student from my dad's Auto Shop class raced cars they have been building in class. One of the student, I might mention, has only had his licence for about a week!

The above is a video from the 2008 derby of my dad and Shane racing. My dad is in the blue and yellow "Q" car. Shane is in the White car. My dad took third place overall, he should have taken first, but the dairy princess drove his car in a race before his race and crashed it so he started in the last place position.
I feel bad I didn't get a pic for the cars from last night, but I did get a picture of us having a great time!
p.s. HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD! I LOVE YOU!

Girls.......CAMP???

I got to go to our wards girls camp as a leader yesterday.  I would not quite call it camp though... not with showers, a kitchen, and a hot tub on the back deck.  I had a lot of fun.  It was great to hang out with my sister Sami too.  Here is a cute pic of all the girls in their SWEET cabin!

Baby Shower!

I went to Allie's baby shower on Saturday!  It is always so fun to see old friends!
(Allie, don't hate me for posting the Pic and don't be ashamed of the cute belly, I love IT!)

Can't wait to meet baby Noah in Aug.

Cedar City Fun!

I spent all lest week with my sister Brooke.  Her roommates had all left for the week, so my parents flew me down to entertain her!

Here is a pic I took  from the plane
I was WAY excited when we flew over Stansbury.  The island looks so cool from an Arial perspective!  The stewardess asked me what I wanted to drink as I was taking the picture.  I pointed out the window and said "That's where I live!"  She was not as impressed as I was, she probably sees is several times a day.

I survived my flight on the very small, noisy, bumpy plane and Brooke met me at the Cedar City Airport.  She works there for Hertz car rental.

Brooke and I had a lot of fun!  I was there Monday through Friday, our first goal was to work out everyday.  We went to the track Tues. Wed. and Thurs. for a short but hard workout.  I'm glad she was there to motivate me.  It is fun working out with someone else and doing something different for a change.
I think we did some version of all of these, plus running around the track (minus the GIRL push-ups, we're too tough for that)  Brooke worked me hard.

We went to St. George twice, the first time to shop and go to IN-N-OUT.
I had never been before, and I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience!

The second time Brooke got called in to work at the St. George Airport.  I went with her.  Just as we were about to leave, we noticed a plane coming in and a lot of people with signs "Welcome Home Elder!"  so we decided to stick around for a minute so Brooke to check out a new RM!  To our surprise, two missionaries stepped off the plane!  I couldn't help but take a picture of one of the Missionaries hugging his dad (I think).

Sorry, WAY blurry.

Brooke needed a few more rentals in Cedar so we each drove a Corolla back.

We went to the movies, got manicures, played skip-bo...and much more.

I rented a car from Brooke for cheap and drove home.  All she had for me at the time was a Mazda 5

This was my sweet ride... Not my first choice, but I felt like I got good driving practice to be a mother of four!

Thanks for a fun week Brooke!  And thanks for letting me go Cody!
Love you both!!!
