Easter, Grandpa, Birthday Party

He wore this hat for about 30 seconds, but I got a picture before he ripped it off.

This was right before our family walk to grandma's house.  He was so excited!  He forgot he was wearing a hat and   

accidently wore it the whole time :)

After hunting eggs we went to visit Great Grandpa in the hospital.  Conner really wanted to play up in this window seal, but Opa wouldn't have it.  He is afraid of heights and was sure Conner would break the glass and fall 10 stories down.

So glad we got to visit with Grandpa on Easter.  This was the last time we saw him.  He passed away just  two days later from a bleed in the brain.  He had a bad fall a couple weeks before this picture and we think he had had a slow bleed ever since.  We miss him but are so glad he to know where he is and that he is happy and out of pain.

We are loving that he is big enough to ride his bike now.  Grandma has had this bike since before Conner was born.  He loves it!

Wyatt and Conner 11.5 months!  Wyatt really wanted to be friends, but Conner wasn't so sure.  Can you tell them apart? We had some family ask who was who.

• My one year old took his first steps on his birthday!  Good thing, we didn't want to miss that while we are gone on our trip next week.
• I know I say something about his sleep every month, but he is sleeping great all night, going to bed later now that the sun stays up later.  About 9pm-8am on the days we get to sleep in.  On Monday mornings he gets to go to grandma's and go back to bed with her.  I am a little jealous that he will fall asleep in her arms.  That never happens to me any more.
• The garage door used to scare him.  Now he gets excited because it means someone is home!
• Conner is all boy, he loves his trucks and he loves his basketball hoop he got for his birthday and knows exactly what to do with it.
• He gets so excited to show off his walking.  He starts moving those legs before he is ready.  He is the cutest!
• We are going to the Doc today so I will post his stats later.
