Feliz Navidad

On December 17th we left with my family on a Cruise Boat to Mexico!  We had a great time!  Hope you like pictures!
Dad and Sami looking out the airplane windows

We arrived at the cruise port early so we did a lot of waiting in lines

Once we made it on the ship we did some exploring.  This is one of the rooms we found.

Formal Night- The kid with the red eyes in not in our family...

We LOVED the yummy dinners every night!  I was so surprised when Cody said he was going to try things he normally wouldn't on this trip.  This is a pic of the Aligator appitizer.  He was happy to share so we all tried Aligator, shark, escargot, and Frog Legs.

Impressed by the beautiful deserts.

Mom and Dad spoiled us.  We got balcony rooms!  We had a lot of fun playing on our balcony!

Panorama view of the balcony.

There's mom, two rooms down :)

In Cabo San Lucus we have to be shuttled on a tender to get to the dock.  Here you can see seven tender waiting to pick up passengers.
On our tender to the dock.

We were in Cabo for two days.  We all thought that was a great way to do it.  We had time to do and see everything we wanted to.  On the first day Cody, Brooke, Mom, and Sami went para-sailing.  I really wanted to but Pregnant Women are prohibited.  And dad, well, he is not too fond of heights.

Cody getting nervous

There he goes

That's the sign for "I'm having a GREAT time!"

Me sad I can't go while Cody is high in the sky behind me!

Beautiful!

With my lover on Lovers beach!

On the other side of lovers beach there is another beach with much stronger waves.  Even though there were several signs saying swin at your own risk Cody and Dad had a lot of fun over here body surfing.  I totally would have normally joined in this activity as well.
Mom and Brooke laying out on the beach.

Sami was covered in sand after her body surfing adventure.  They had to go to the calm side to wash up.

We had so much fun at the beach on day one we decided to come back on day two.  We had a little more time to spend this time so we all did some laying out.

Next we took a walk to Cabo Wabo, just so we can say we have been there.  We didn't actually go inside but we saw plenty of people on the ship who were extra tipsy after their trip to Cabo Wabo.

Formal night #2.  Again on our balcony.

On the bus in Ensenada.  We just did some shopping here.  For future reference, souvenirs tend to be cheaper here.

Nasty Sea Lions right by the ship.  We had to hold our breath when we got on and off.

You know your pregnant when you can use your belly to hold you food.  Big fan of ice cream :)
On the last night Brooke and I were selected to play Minute to Win it.

Our first task was to get pasta off a stool with a fettuccine noodle without using our hands.  I rocked this with my frog looking moves.

Brooke used the sideways method.

Brooke was runner up and my dad answered a trivia question while we were playing so all three of us came away with Ships on Sticks.

Did I mention we loved the ice cream...

Thanks so much mom and dad.  What a fun Christmas!    Best Christmas present EVER!!!  Can't wait to do it again ;)  We Love You!

Recent Happenings

Our Cute Neighbor boy Rylee at our ward Pie Night.  The best attended Ward Party every year!

Thanksgiving Day with the Perkins.  Cody and our cute Niece Kate (2)

Treasa works extra hard to make a table big enough for the whole family to sit at.  I Loved it!  Thanks so much!

Cody was the "announcer" for the bingo game.

Black Friday deal!  We got Skele-toes!  This was our payment for helping my dad rake up leaves in Delta on Black Friday. I got some very cute pink ones!  Can;t wait to put them to the test this summer.

22 Weeks.  Why am I always surprised at how big I have gotten in these pictures?  I don't feel that big!?  We are pretty proud of our Christmas Tree too.

My studious husband studying for finals coming up this week.

We had a fun date night last night.  After eating at Texas Road House we finished up our Christmas shopping .  This included us buying new pillows for ourselves.  We HAD to test them out!  Cody was laying on the floor across from me trying out one pillow, he would shout "Switch" and we threw the pillows to the other person.  Neither of us have ever bought pillows before... this was a big investment, we didn't want to go wrong.  I decided they need a testing bed at B3 so customers don;t have to lay on the floor... or maybe that's just us.

And finally, we found this cute Rash Guard swim top for Baby Conner... on clearance...we are so proud.

This was such a fun, well deserved date night after the week we both just had.  One more week until we are on the Beaches of Mexico... Can't wait!!!
