Cedar City Fun!

I spent all lest week with my sister Brooke.  Her roommates had all left for the week, so my parents flew me down to entertain her!

Here is a pic I took  from the plane
I was WAY excited when we flew over Stansbury.  The island looks so cool from an Arial perspective!  The stewardess asked me what I wanted to drink as I was taking the picture.  I pointed out the window and said "That's where I live!"  She was not as impressed as I was, she probably sees is several times a day.

I survived my flight on the very small, noisy, bumpy plane and Brooke met me at the Cedar City Airport.  She works there for Hertz car rental.

Brooke and I had a lot of fun!  I was there Monday through Friday, our first goal was to work out everyday.  We went to the track Tues. Wed. and Thurs. for a short but hard workout.  I'm glad she was there to motivate me.  It is fun working out with someone else and doing something different for a change.
I think we did some version of all of these, plus running around the track (minus the GIRL push-ups, we're too tough for that)  Brooke worked me hard.

We went to St. George twice, the first time to shop and go to IN-N-OUT.
I had never been before, and I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience!

The second time Brooke got called in to work at the St. George Airport.  I went with her.  Just as we were about to leave, we noticed a plane coming in and a lot of people with signs "Welcome Home Elder!"  so we decided to stick around for a minute so Brooke to check out a new RM!  To our surprise, two missionaries stepped off the plane!  I couldn't help but take a picture of one of the Missionaries hugging his dad (I think).

Sorry, WAY blurry.

Brooke needed a few more rentals in Cedar so we each drove a Corolla back.

We went to the movies, got manicures, played skip-bo...and much more.

I rented a car from Brooke for cheap and drove home.  All she had for me at the time was a Mazda 5

This was my sweet ride... Not my first choice, but I felt like I got good driving practice to be a mother of four!

Thanks for a fun week Brooke!  And thanks for letting me go Cody!
Love you both!!!

Pampered Chef Party?

So I got a post card in the mail yesterday for an invitation to a Pampered Chef Party.  The post card was blank except for my name and address.  I kinda want to go so if you invited me to your Pampered Chef Party but accidentally forgot to tell me who you are, let me know!

MARRIED ONE YEAR...ALREADY!?

Last Sunday Cody and I celebrated our one year anniversary!  We both have said how fast it has gone by, thats a good sign right...

To celebrate we went to our very favorite vacation spot... Delta, Utah.

We actually saved the top layer of our Wedding cake.  It has been in the freezer for one year.  We ate it all week long and it was still super good!  I think the fondant was like 20 extra layers of plastic wrap!
The Cake one year ago.

Cody also got me these Tulips.  I love Tulips, I told him thats all I wanted for our anniversary.

Believe it or not, we got in the water on Monday in our wet-suits.  Cody rode the Jet-ski (and actually got wet, he fell off a few times!)  I rode the Wave Runner, so I just got splashed a little.  We both really wanted to ski on the perfect water, but we had a few rainy days, so it never got too warm.  Trust me, there will be plenty of pictures of all our Delta fun coming this summer! (Can't Wait!)

Class of 2010! Go Aggies!

I am graduating from Utah State University in a week and a half!  These are a few pics my cousin Jessica took for me up at campus.

I think I am allowed to brag a little- I have not paid one penny of my college tuition!  I have been on academic scholarship for four years.  This year I got financial aid on top of that...In other words, I got paid to go to school.  Thanks for letting me be a little prideful...GO AGGIES!

It's been fun...but I am happy to be DONE!

Utah…Here We Come

You heard right my friends… starting in August…We are going to be UTES!
Cody just got his acceptance letter from the University of Utah this week. He will be studying Pre-architecture. His first year he will be taking a lot of pre-requisites and preparing an outstanding portfolio in preparation for the very competitive architecture program!

He is very nervous about this new chapter in his life! I am SO excited for him, he is going to do a great job doing something he really enjoys. He has been wonderful and very supportive in putting off his education in order for me to graduate…now it's his turn!

Any words of advice and/or encouragement are VERY welcome!

Happy Birthday To You...

DEAR CODY, Happy Birthday to you!
Well, if you ask me, Cody had the best birthday anyone could ask for! (Minus the 10 hour shift he had to work)

I skipped out on a few of my unimportant morning classes to make Cody a delicious breakfast in bed. (Omelet, Sausage, and some OJ, A real man's breakfast)
Cody got everything he wanted...
...His fav. cologne (Aqua Di Gio)...New cloths from Old Navy...

And a SWEET Toothbrush from his parents and a new Life Jacket from mine.  He was very spoiled by everyone this birthday!

I took some cupcakes for Cody and his friends at work and his boss bought them ice cream to celebrate.

Cody got home from work at 8:30pm, we went to Junipers for a yummy dinner and came home to this...
SURPRISE!!!

I invited a few of Cody's friends over for a little surprise party.  I was so grateful they all wanted to come wish Cody a happy birthday.

I know I had a fun day spoiling my Cody and he said he had a great day too... job well done I would say.

Happy birthday to my best friend!  I love you Cody! :)
