We had a super fun weekend in Delta. There was a lot more going on than usual. With Friday off work you know we went down Thursday night to spend as much time down there as possible!
Michael and Michelle Bishop went with us.
Michael was a mission companion of Cody's and we all got to be good friends the last two years at USU! Their mission President (Who just happens to be from Delta UT) came home. We having been planning this Delta trip, to go boating and listen to the Corey's for over a year now.
*I stole this pic from their Facebook

The four of us did a lot of boating as usual. I know I have been cheating at my blogging lately, but Michelle got some really cute pictures, I'm sure she will post them soon so check out her blog soon to see those.
*Keep in mind all these pictures were taken with my cell phone, I know I have been an irresponsible blogger forgetting my camera at blog worthy events.
Cody and Michael playing in the water like little kids :)
Another Companion of Cody's (Cody's "BOY") Elder Ryan Wade joined in the boating fun for a day. For not even knowing what a wave runner is he did a fantastic job his first time water skiing... He got up on his first pull!!
Sunday was SO much fun!!! Cody LOVED seeing old friend and I felt like I knew most of them from letters and tapes during the good old missionary days. I counted seven missionaries who told me that Cody would frequently checking the mail box for a letter from me, or "Do you know how much stress you caused this guy every p-day", or "I remember the time when Elder Perkins got a letter with a hole in it...a tape from you had fallen out...that was the worst day of his LIFE!...Then that day you sent him a tape a week later, he was SO EXCITED!!!"
One missionary introduced himself to me;
We heard lots of mission stories...I love mission stories
Elder Roberts - Cody was his district leader at one point. I hope they got at least SOME work done!
Elder Tonata - Cody almost got killed by E. Tonata when he and E. Wade snuck into his apt through the window to make his a surprise breakfast. E. Tonata, with his natural survival instincts pulled a knife on Cody when he heard them breaking and entering. Cody and Ryan sure learned their lesson!
p.s. I thought Cody was going to get squished to death when this guy gave him a hug, Cody thought so too...
Another picture of Elder Wade...The star water skier - These two always had fun together. Because Cody trained E. Wade he calls Cody DAD and he has called me MOM for two and a half years. I met him for the first time this weekend.
There were SO many other missionaries there and Cody could tell great stories about each and every one of them. This is a picture of all the Elders. During Sacrament meeting all the missionaries got up to sing Called to Serve as the intermediate hymn. I counted over 70 missionaries (Elders, Sisters, and Seniors) The Corey's were very well loved and supported!

"Hi, what's your name? I haven't met you before?"
"Alexa"
"Nice to meet you" Then he leans in Cody's direction and starts whispering something. Neither Cody nor I understood what he was saying, but I had a pretty good idea.
"Yep, I'm the same girl... I'm still here!!!"
Just when I thought I had met a missionary who hadn't heard of me before...

I bet it was fun for both of you to see all of those guys you served with. How fun. The pics were great. Missionaries will always have a love for those they serve with. Thanks for posting.
