September 2013

Conner sat on Opa's lat for like 5 minutes.  New Record!

Fun at Grandma's house.  He has been getting along great with all his cousins!  They are so good to take him outside whenever he wants or play in the toy room.  He loves Grandma Treasa's play kitchen.  He made me a hotdog the other day.   Guess what he is getting for Christmas!

It's more fun to play in the toy box than with the actual toys!

Conner and my Opa at Conner's birthday party earlier this year.  Opa passed away last month.  We miss him but are so glad he is happy now, and we are excited to see him again.

Helping dad in the basement.

Conner had a great time helping us transplant some plants.  Here he is throwing more dirt on the plant.  Love my big helper!

My new desktop picture at work.  Can't get enough of that smile!

Love watching my baby sleep

Showing me his eyes with his spaghetti hands!

New thing... His smile for the camera flash!  Last night he was running around like a wild man with that poppy toy... best yard sale find yet!

  • Conner will be 18 month this Saturday.  Nursery here we come!
  • Favorite food... Fruit snacks!
  • Conner throws away his wrappers when he is done with his fruit snacks with out being told.  He thinks the garbage can is awesome!
  • Loves to say prayers and read book by himself
  • He has chewed a couple nipples off his bottles so those will be going soon... not excited for that!
  • He likes to push the cart in Walmart, it's hard to get him to ride in it for too long now.  This makes Walmart trip very difficult.  Cody is good enough to go with us most of the time.  Life saver!
  • Loves to dance!  He was break dancing for us the other day when we had the music turned up.  When mom or dad would sit down he came over and pulled us right back up.  He wanted to keep dancing.
  • New sign: Thank You.  Cutest thing you have ever seen, he basically gets whatever he wants when he says please and Thank you.
  • Conner doesn't like his highchair so much anymore.  He always want to sit at the big table by mom and dad

August 2013

Conner started at a new babysitters house.  This is a pic of him showing them his dance moves.  It didn't take him long to get comfortable there.  We love Janece and all Conner's new friends.

In Idaho Walmart parking lot.  Conner was tired.  He LOVES that bunny too much!

Conner and Wyatt at the part in Idaho for the Brown family reunion

He layed him head on this Watermelon just like he did in the cart picture above at our walmart.

Sliding down the rain gutter at home

Playing with Blue cool whip

Cody and I did the Stansbury Days Triathlon at the end of August.  It was fun to do it together.

Conner's goods from the Stansbury Days parade.  Fireman hat, fruit snacks, mini football, and a sucker

Crazy Conner that we love SO much

This monkey can climb all over the place all by himself

Combing mom's hair

Conner loves to say prayers and he claps when we say "Amen"... even in church

Last boating trip to Delta for the summer.  Like father like son in their do rags.  Perfect for the boat.

  • 17 months old
  • Conner can take off the child locks on the kitchen cabinets
  • He loves to dance.  We have family dance parties in the car.
  • He signs please, cookie, more, and eat
  • Likes to watch the birds flying in the sky
  • Loves to say prayers.
  • Waking up at night.  I thought we were through with that
  • Swam in the lake with mom and dad and played on the wakesurf.  He loves to wear his life jacket.
  • Is still obsessed with shoes and hats.  This kid really loves his accessories
    • The other day he wanted to wear his slippers that are too small all day long, even to bed.
    • We were cleaning out the closet for cousin Locke and Conner kept saving the shoes, and only the shoes from the box to give away
  • Still only 6 teeth

June - July 2013

I having been wanting Conner to be able to pick his nose for a long time now because he hates the alternative so much!

Fun day at the Zoo the other day.  My boys watching the elephant take a bath.

Conner had the most fun just walking around by himself.  And he didn't want to hold anyone's hand!

LOVES corn on the cob!

Mowing the lawn!

"eating" oatmeal

This summer has been so fun!  He can get enough of playing out side.  He cry's when it is time to come in.

Favorite food... Banana's.  He doesn't like me to cut them up anymore

Conner driving daddy's car while I cleaned it out.

Cody and I did a triathlon at the end of June and we are doing another one in 4 weeks!

Conner really does love the hammock swing!

Our new favorite place in Delta.  We still have lots of flavors to try.

Playing with his new toys from his cousins for his birthday!

15 Months!

  • Conner is more independent than ever!  He want's to do everything himself and usually makes a mess doing it but it is so fun watching his learn about everything.
  • Got his first sunburn with the babysitter, it didn't seem to bother him but it sure looked like it hurt
  • Not really saying any more words.  We think he says "Dog" and he for sure says "Woof Woof"  and probably lots of other things we haven't picked up on yet.
  • Had his first two hair cuts recently
  • He thinks our bed is his playground
  • Gives really great hugs! But not kisses.
  • He likes to read.  He will pull out a book and read to himself.  Of coarse he stopped as soon as I got the camera out the other day.

What Happens in Vegas...

My awesome mom treated Brooke and I to a fantastic weekend in Las Vegas.  We stayed at the Wynn hotel, saw a super cool show and ate a lot!
I had a plane ticket for the middle seat.  To my surprise I ended up having the whole bench to myself!

Outside our hotel

Dessert!  Yum!

Walking through Treasure Island we found a few machines that had a couple cents credit.  We got so excited!  We cashed out the ticket and pulled the penny slots a few times.  Brooke won $0.40!

Picture from La Reve.  The coolest chow I have EVER seen!  I would pay the $100 ticket to see it again!
Diving, synchronized swimming, acrobats, magic, comedy, jam packing into one awesome show.
