March

Conner brushing his hair before church... what a smarty pants!

These girls did great at Young Women region basketball!  We took 2nd place.

After church playing with sticks outside.

My cute boy in his dad's 4th of July outfit that grandma made.  Cody wore this when he was 15 months.  Conner is 11 months.

We have a tummy sleeper!  We love going in to watch him sleep at night.  He is the cutest.

First Delta trip of the year.  Cody and dad worked hard on the new deck and Conner's new sandbox!

Conner and I played in the sand out side while everyone else worked.
The things grandparents do for their grand kids!  Conner got his own personal sand box!  He LOVES it!

Here comes trouble.  He found out that it's pretty cool to stand backwards in the stroller, way cooler then sitting forward the regular way.

Playing at the park in the wood chips.

My big boy is 11 months old!

  • He has been crawling like a champ for a while now.  He is pulling up on everything he can and walking along the couches and everything else
  • He loves playing catch
  • Conner always has something to say these days, can't wait till we can understand him
  • We finally put locks on the cabinets because he loves to empty them.
  • Can't believe my baby will be one in two weeks!

10 Months

Yummy black beans

Breakfast in bed for my birthday... with hot chocolate, Cody knows me well!

Conner's turn for strawberries

Conner was ready for a nap so he put his hear down to rest.  This is also what he does when he is mad.

I love coming in to find this cute boy standing in his crib after nap time.

Four new pairs of shoes for my birthday!

Conner exploring at grandma's house

Can't help but smile when I see my happy boy!

Practicing on Opa's guitar.  Notice his guitar shirt too.  Too cute
My new table finally came... Last birthday preset from Cody, but it came without the hardware.  We ate like this for a couple of days.

Playing catch with Grandma.  Conner's favorite game.

1. I love his overalls 2. I love how he can entertain himself with anything.
Conner dropped something in the toilet while I was in the kitchen so he decided to try to fish it out himself.

We make sure the bathroom door is always closed now.

  • 10 Months old
  • He is a master crawler now... didn't take long to get that down.
    • I like having a crawler.  Yes he gets into things like the toilet and pulls on cords or shelves that he shouldn't and the stairs scare me... but it is so great that he just follows me everywhere I go around the house.  I don't have to carry him everywhere.
  • If you hadn't noticed, he has grown quite a bit of hair in the last few months
  • He does 2 of the 3 actions to Klapus in de haunches
  • He knows a brush is for your hair and socks go on your toes.  He know to beep Opa's nose.
  • He also knows that if he wakes up at night he gets a bottle... we need to work on that one
  • He started signing "More" today... I thought we were going to have to give up on sign language.  But he says "Ma Ma" too when he signs, so maybe we should skip the signing and go strait to talking.

Christmas Part 2

Between our Christmas Eve festivities Cody and I put together this gingerbread house.  You can see Cody's perfectionism at work!

Christmas Morning.  Conner found some treats in his stocking.  We should have saved the stocking for last because he was not interested in anything else after her found his treats.

I was telling the truth when I said Conner was getting a wrapped box for Christmas!  It was a hit as expected.

Christmas at Grandma's

Cody got a flying Helicopter!  His favorite gift... but it only lasted one day...

It's a tradition to wear the clothing you received for Christmas for the rest of the day.  Dad is sporting his new sweater and his new bike shorts.

My happy happy boy at grandma's Christmas Night.

By this time he was a pro at unwrapping!

Here are the pictures I took of Conner on his nine month birthday... You will notice I had a hard time getting him to hold still long enough

This picture is from Christmas Eve... Silly boy.

The aftermath of Christmas

We played the Candy Bar/Gift Card game with my family after breakfast.  Everyone was a winner!

Conner and Wyatt.   Wyatt thinks his cousin is crazy "Why can't you just sit still like me?"

Cute boys

How many Cheerio's and bananas can you fit in YOUR mouth?

  • Conner loves to run around the house and chase mom or dad.
  • He thinks it is so funny to scare dad
  • He has discovered his tongue and likes to make cute noises with it
  • He is good at sharing.  He takes my glasses of and gives them right back to me.
  • We recently tried Mandarin oranges... he cannot eat them fast enough
  • He plays in his room by himself really well... he has started to explore though, army crawling into every room, even down to the kitchen to find me.
