April Vacay

We have been planning this trip since before Conner was born, we had a count down on our fridge and  phones but when the time came to actually say goodbye to Conner, we were second guessing our decision.  Glad we finally made it out the door because we had a great time and Conner and his Grandma's just had an eight day party anyway, he didn't even miss us!

First towel animal.  I promise we did not take pictures every night :)

Cody with his midnight pizza, I don't think we got a pic of me with my ice cream, but we both got our fair share.

Cody's not one to lay out, so here is a selfie or me hanging out on the deck by myself.

First formal night

One of our favorite activities is hanging out at the piano man bar.  Fun to sing along.

Paradise Beach, Cozumel Mexico

We had so much fun playing on these toys.

This might have been our favorite.  Or the big slide in the back, we did that one like 10 times.

This beach had everything.  Even a swimming pool that we did not get in.  We had some relaxing hammock time after an awesome sand volleyball game we played with fellow Utahn's

Check out that blue blue water.  It was beautiful!

Me playing 60 seconds or less.  I rocked this cookie challenge.

Belize!  This is part of our cave tubing group we got to be friends with.  Cave tubing was awesome!  I wish I would have taken my camera, but they tell you to leave anything you don;t want to get wet, but it would have been fine...next time.  Search cave tubing Belize,  the pictures you see are exactly what it is like .

Roatan, our favorite stop.

We went zip-lining here.  Glad we decided to go!

Our tour guide liked to sneak in the pictures

Should have got one of Cody upside down.

Last Stop-Grand Cayman. We just walked around the town, found some internet to email home and check up on Conner, and did some souvenir shopping, but we really want to go back here some time.

Cody's post card picture

Formal night #2.  Love my handsome man!
We found this in our bed... talk about creepy.

Playing mini golf the last day on the ship in 100 mph winds... made it a little difficult.

The best dinner crew! Ketut and Irma
We had a blast!  Can't wait for the next one... who's in?

PS There is not one picture of Conner in this post... that's a first since he has been born!

Easter, Grandpa, Birthday Party

He wore this hat for about 30 seconds, but I got a picture before he ripped it off.

This was right before our family walk to grandma's house.  He was so excited!  He forgot he was wearing a hat and
accidently wore it the whole time :)

Easter and Great Grandma's house.  He would have rathered just play with the dirt.

Checking for goods

Brooke looking through the kids piles for the good stuff.

After hunting eggs we went to visit Great Grandpa in the hospital.  Conner really wanted to play up in this window seal, but Opa wouldn't have it.  He is afraid of heights and was sure Conner would break the glass and fall 10 stories down.

So glad we got to visit with Grandpa on Easter.  This was the last time we saw him.  He passed away just  two days later from a bleed in the brain.  He had a bad fall a couple weeks before this picture and we think he had had a slow bleed ever since.  We miss him but are so glad he to know where he is and that he is happy and out of pain.

Conner in his Sunday best on Easter.
We are loving that he is big enough to ride his bike now.  Grandma has had this bike since before Conner was born.  He loves it!

Wyatt and Conner 11.5 months!  Wyatt really wanted to be friends, but Conner wasn't so sure.  Can you tell them apart? We had some family ask who was who.

Conner likes pizza!
Grandpa's funeral.

Happy Birthday to my sweet Cody!  Aren't these two the cutest!

Here is the Green Eggs and Ham and Cupcakes

Conner had lots of helpers to open his gifts.  We had so much fun!

He would have eaten the whole thing!  He just sat back and shoveled it in bite by bite.

Sami, Kelsey, and Shane

Conner beeping Great Opa's nose.

Eva cleaning up after Conner.  She is the cutest!

Cody and Conner with the Dr. Seuss cupcakes.

Present time!

Linda, Trea, and Ammon

Zack, Great Grandma, and Anna

Me and Brooke

  • My one year old took his first steps on his birthday!  Good thing, we didn't want to miss that while we are gone on our trip next week.
  • I know I say something about his sleep every month, but he is sleeping great all night, going to bed later now that the sun stays up later.  About 9pm-8am on the days we get to sleep in.  On Monday mornings he gets to go to grandma's and go back to bed with her.  I am a little jealous that he will fall asleep in her arms.  That never happens to me any more.
  • The garage door used to scare him.  Now he gets excited because it means someone is home!
  • Conner is all boy, he loves his trucks and he loves his basketball hoop he got for his birthday and knows exactly what to do with it.
  • He gets so excited to show off his walking.  He starts moving those legs before he is ready.  He is the cutest!
  • We are going to the Doc today so I will post his stats later.

March

Conner brushing his hair before church... what a smarty pants!

These girls did great at Young Women region basketball!  We took 2nd place.

After church playing with sticks outside.

My cute boy in his dad's 4th of July outfit that grandma made.  Cody wore this when he was 15 months.  Conner is 11 months.

We have a tummy sleeper!  We love going in to watch him sleep at night.  He is the cutest.

First Delta trip of the year.  Cody and dad worked hard on the new deck and Conner's new sandbox!

Conner and I played in the sand out side while everyone else worked.
The things grandparents do for their grand kids!  Conner got his own personal sand box!  He LOVES it!

Here comes trouble.  He found out that it's pretty cool to stand backwards in the stroller, way cooler then sitting forward the regular way.

Playing at the park in the wood chips.

My big boy is 11 months old!

  • He has been crawling like a champ for a while now.  He is pulling up on everything he can and walking along the couches and everything else
  • He loves playing catch
  • Conner always has something to say these days, can't wait till we can understand him
  • We finally put locks on the cabinets because he loves to empty them.
  • Can't believe my baby will be one in two weeks!
